Tony Baroud

Media presenter and former basketball player

A former Lebanon national-team player who later built a career in television presentation and sports commentary.

Biography

Tony Baroud was born in Machghara and began playing basketball at school before entering local and international competitions. He completed university studies at Notre Dame University–Louaize.

He played for Al-Kahrabaa, Sagesse, and Al-Wardieh and represented the Lebanese national team. An injury ended his playing career and led to his retirement from the sport.

Baroud then moved into media, using his sporting experience in television presentation and sports commentary.

Notable Contributions

Represented Lebanon and played for leading Lebanese basketball clubs.

Developed a second career in television and sports media.
